"In the beginning, God..."
Everything has a point of origin. In 2018 God opened a door for North Georgia Works! to begin its ministry. It took a lot of work, but as our slogan reads, this is "Where Work Works!"
7,000 boxes of records were being stored in this facility. 7,000 boxes needed to be cataloged, secured, and relocated. They were. Every document was safely transported to its new location within walking distance of the Hall County Courthouse; Main Street.
Now, with the facilities an empty shell, the work of restoration and renovation began. With teams from Free Chapel Worship Center and First Presbyterian Church, along with North Georgia Works! Board Members and Staff, the transformation took shape.

1,002 Substance Abuse Screenings & "0" Failures
"Personal Responsibility." This banner is mounted high within our facility, but not too high for each of our trainees to reach within themselves. On Friday, April 17, 2020 these men proved not only what personal responsibility is, but also that they are daily willing to be held accountable to God, one another, staff, community, and to our Business Partners. This determination has lead to us being able to log a total of 1,002 Drug & Alcohol Screenings with 0 Failures!
This is quite an accomplishment, especially when one considers that it occurred in just nine (9) short months since the first North Georgia Works! trainee was enrolled.
To commemorate this great feat, we took a group photo and presented each trainee with a little token of appreciation.
These men have proven that they care. They care about their sobriety and their fellow trainees' sobriety.
Men, North Georgia Works! is very proud of you individually and corporately.
